We love this quirky furniture collection by Dzmitry Samal. The ‘Parallel World’ collection consists of various elements, which are attached to the walls using an anchoring system. It’s called the ‘Parallel World’ because of the hidden parts of an object, which makes it an interesting sight. You can see this project Milan Design Week from April 14th to April 19th.

Norwegian designer Kristine Bjaadal has designed a very clever concept for a table cloth. When colored liquid (like red wine) is spilled on its surface, it reveals a hidden butterfly pattern. We always knew that making a mess would come in handy.

Freedom of Creation has created some amazing headphones that you can customise. What makes them so special is that owners of the headphones can customize the headband with the names of musical artists they enjoy listening to.

We absolutely fell in love with these photographs by Elena Kalis. She lives in the Bahamas (lucky her) and takes unusual photos under the water.

She has built a wonderful playground under the sea, using props and her friends and family. Check out the rest of her work, its beautiful.

We have caught a glimpse of Louis Vuitton’s new spring collection and it has been littered with an unusual handbag called the trash bag, aka ‘raindrop besace,’ designed by Marc Jacobs.

The Brazilian designers Fernando and Humberto Campana have teamed up with the clothing brand Lacoste, and have designed a series of limited-edition shirts for men and women. We love this shirt which is crafted entirely from the iconic lacoste embroidered alligator. Get your hands on them snappy as there are only 12 of each!

The famous paper experts GF Smith is in town today!

They are giving a talk at Leicester DeMontfort University from 6.00pm – 9.00pm (private view).

GF Smith have been the biggest paper merchants over the past century. They develop and produce the most unusual papers for the print/design industry and they are celebrating their 111th year.

This show will no doubt amaze us with an array of paper swatches, paper finishes and promotional items dating from GF Smith’s birth in the early 1900’s through to today.

Our designers will be there, so see you there.

We love this football sofa designed and crafted by company Suzukike Group. They are well known for utilizing objects to create interior furniture. These are great examples of disassembled footballs which are reassembled and stitched to form furniture. Check out the rest of their quirky work.

Designer Leah Buechley has designed a jacket for cyclists, called the Turn Signal Bike Jacket.
The jacket is made with a set of sewable electronic components which is wrist activated by buttons on the cuff.
